How to cancel F&O Purchase Order using Logic Apps?

Hi, I am trying to cancel a purchase order in F&O through Logic Apps, but I am unsuccessful using the update a record option.
Can you help in having a step-by-step solution on this?

@Joel Fernandez Thanks for reaching out. Have you tried leveraging the Update a record action to update the purchase order record in F&O and set the status to "Cancelled".

Did setting the status as Cancelled didn't work for you?

@MayankBargali-MSFT I am canceling the PO by updating PurchaseOrderStatus and I could not find that column to update. Am I updating the right entity?

When I retrieve PurchaseOrderHeadersV2, I see PurchaseOrderStatus.

@Joel Fernandez If you have the test environment can you try to leverage delete record action and see if it canceled the order. In the meantime I will also validate it with my team.

@MayankBargali-MSFT I can delete the purchase order only when the status is Draft and change management is not activated.

Test failed on these following scenarios:

Approval status is Confirmed and the PO status is Open.

Approval status is set from Confirmed to Draft and PO status is Open.

@Joel Fernandez I am still waiting for the confirmation from my team if this is supported and will keep you posted. The feature request will be reviewed by the engineer team if they find that particular feature would be helpful for many customers and if the same feature is requested by multiple customers. Unfortunately, there is no ETA the feature request implemented in the product.

The workaround could be leveraging the REST API for Fin & Ops Apps to do this operation and call it the endpoint using HTTP Native connector.

@MayankBargali-MSFT I was trying to use to use HTTP but I hit a road block. I created an export data package, download it so I can use it as the data file for the import data package. Problem is I could not map PurchaseOrderStatus.

@Joel Fernandez Thanks for sharing the screenshot. In that case the connector action doesn't support updating the PurchaseOrderStatus as the property is not exposed by the connector action. Let me double check on this with the team as this would be feature request for the connector in case if it is not supported.

Update:

I have got the confirmation that this is not supported in the connector right now. Feel free to create the feature request here if this is something you would like to see in the logic app connector.
