Hi,

Does anyone know how we can create templates subfolders in Word and put template files in there so when users, go to File > New > Templates, they can click on the relevant folder and load the template into word?

Yes. You can, in multiple ways.

The basic idea is to discover where you want to store your templates, let Work know the location(s) and then put folders in those locations to group the templates.

You can also use the legacy File > New dialog which organizes these folders into tabs in a dialog.

This is discussed in the first page I linked.

Yes, it's possible to create subfolders in the Word templates folder and organize your templates accordingly. Here are the steps to do this:

Open Microsoft Word and click on the "File" tab.

Select "Options" from the left-hand menu.

In the "Word Options" dialog box, select "Advanced" from the left-hand menu.

Scroll down to the "General" section and click on the "File Locations" button.

In the "File Locations" dialog box, select "User templates" from the list of file types.

Click on the "Modify" button and navigate to the folder where you want to create the subfolder.

Create a new folder within the templates folder by right-clicking and selecting "New Folder".

Give the new folder a name and click "OK" to save the changes.

Move the template files you want to include in the subfolder into the new folder you just created.

    Close all the dialog boxes.

Now, when you go to File > New > Templates, you should see the subfolder listed along with the other templates. Click on the subfolder to access the templates stored within it.
