You could use Outlook rules to move your important mail (from your friends) to certain important folders and your inbox is just meant for everything else:

There are always some emails in my mailbox that are not sent from my friends, and I'm not sure if they are sent by the system. Anyway, I want to reduce them as much as possible. Is there any way?

If the unwanted mails are sent by some specific senders or domains, you can add them to the block list via Home > Junk > Junk Email Options > Blocked Senders:
If the senders are random, you can adjust the Junk Email protection level in your Outlook to a more aggressive one like Low or High. If you only want to receive mails from your friends, you can select "Safe Lists Only" and configure the Safe lists based on your need:
