HR (F&O)- Creating leave workflow for HR Admin to enter leave requests on behalf of worker with no access to ESS

Hello,

We have a client where approximately 70-75% of their workforce do NOT have access to ESS or any technology (factory workers). All managers have access to ESS/MSS.

They wish to have their HR Admin enter the leave leave requests on behalf of the non-ESS workers, and have the workflow go to the worker's manager for approval.

Currently, for any requests submitted by the HR Admin, we can only get the workflow to go to the HR Admin's manager for approval, and NOT to the actual worker's manager.

We have reviewed the "Absence Manager" role but that did not appear to resolve the issue of the worker's manager being able to approve/deny the request via the MSS. (please let us know if we have not then fully understood the workings of absence manager role).

If anyone can share any ideas on this matter it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@Helent Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

To clarify this issue, what did you mean "ESS/MSS"? If ESS means Employee self service, this issue is more related to Dynamics 365. It is not related to windows 365. Windows 365 is a cloud-based service that automatically creates a new type of Windows virtual machine (Cloud PCs) for your end users.

So, it is suggested to contact Dynamics 365 support to get more help. Here is the support link:

    Thanks for your understanding.

@Helent Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

Remember, this is a textual representation of the workflow. To convert this into a visual diagram using Lucid chart or any other diagramming tool, you would need to map out each step, connecting them with appropriate arrows and annotations to represent the flow and relationships accurately.
