For our static files hosting service we are using Microsoft's Azure CDN on top of Azure Storage Account. I am trying to understand how to enable ETag and how to validate if ETag is used in CDN caching.

According to doc: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cdn/cdn-how-caching-works#validators

For Azure CDN Standard from Microsoft, ETag is not supported by default so trying to understand if there is a way to enable it.

    @Nupur Kulkarni

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

    Currently, ETag for Azure CDN Standard from Microsoft is not.

    I shall work internally to update the document to reflect this property correctly.

    Thanks,

    Kapil
