Hi,

Just started looking into the upgrade from Azure Cache for Redis 4 to 6, do you have any details on backward compatibility?

I.e. if I were to upgrade now with one click, what could I expect to break, what are the bits that I'd need to change on the app layer? (as I expect to make some changes in IaC as a part of this, such as chef/terraform)

Thanks.

Zsolt Pocsaji Thank you for reaching out.

My understanding is that you are looking to upgrade your redis cache from version 4 to version 6 and want to know the backward compatibility and the breaking change.

Redis version 6 is compatible with version 4 and applications should continue to function seamlessly after the version upgrade.

About the breaking changes. Ther is no breaking changes.
