I allowed OneDrive to back up my Oulook .pst files. It made a new folder in OneDrive Documents called Outlook and put the backed up .pst files for two email accounts in the folder and removed them from AppData/Local. I have not been able to download new email messages since, although the archive folders are visible in Outlook.

I have made copies of the two .pst files and put them back in the C:/users/*username/*AppData/Local/Microsoft/Outlook and removed the ones in OneDrive Personal Documents. Outlook opens, archive is there but can't I get new messages and get error messageOx8004010F.

-Do I need to set up new profile in Outlook?

-or remove and add the 2 email accounts again?

And how do I stop OneDrive syncing .pst files in my Local folder?

or should I be doing something completely different??

    Hi @AJGoulding ,

This error usually occurs when the Outlook user profile becomes corrupted. The 0x8004010F error message says that the Outlook data file cannot be accessed. This can happen if the data file was moved, deleted, or corrupted.

You can try removing and re-adding the email accounts first, and if that doesn't work, you can create a new profile.

You can follow the steps below to fix the issue:

    1. Create a new Outlook profile: You can create a new profile by going to File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles > Show Profiles > Add. Then enter your email account details and follow the on-screen instructions.
    2. Disable OneDrive syncing .pst files in your Local folder: You can disable syncing by right-clicking on the OneDrive icon in the system tray and selecting Settings. Then go to the Account tab, click Choose folders, and uncheck the folders that you want to stop syncing.

The error message "0x8004010F" in Outlook during send/receive is commonly caused by issues with the offline address book (OAB). Here's a brief explanation:

    1. Incorrect configuration of the Outlook profile or misconfigured offline address book settings.
    2. Corruption or damage to the Outlook data file (PST or OST) linked to the offline address book.
    3. Inaccurate file path or missing offline address book file.
    4. Synchronization problems between the offline address book and the Exchange Server.

    Potential solutions:

    1. Verify Outlook profile settings and ensure correct configuration of the offline address book.
    2. Rebuild the offline address book by initiating a download of changes.
    3. Check the file path and ensure the offline address book file is in the correct location.
    4. Repair or recreate the Outlook data file if it is corrupted.

Let me know if these steps helped.
