Outlook - How can I utilise the defered delivery option when my outbox has a delay?
Hey,
I have a rule on my email that means when I press send; my emails defer their delivery by 1 minute - I tend to notice a mistake as soon as I press send, this mitigates it for me. I don't want to lose this process/functionality but I've also been trying to utilise the new "Schedule this email to send at x time when this user is active". The problem is that if I schedule it to send later, my rule that defers my email by a minute overrides the scheduled delivery time.
Is there a way to create a rule that when the deferred delivery is set before pressing send, my rule doesn't apply to these emails? "If deferred delivery is not set, then set to 1, else use the set deferred delivery".
Best,
Sam
