Conditional Formatting in Outlook 2023

I cannot find conditional formatting in the new Outlook for 2023. I liked having the option of changing the format of incoming messages to a certain color or font based on the sender or where it was being emailed to. Does this feature not exist in the new Outlook anymore, or am I missing where to do that?

I'd agree. This was a most helpful feature. I see some new features which I like. This is a bit of a tricky one for me. i am not sure I will upgrade to the new just yet. I will try it but will really look forward to this one. Or if I could Auto Assign a charm that may work too. But color would be best.

I also hope this feature returns. It would also be helpful to change the color of a flagged email in dark mode. As it is, the flagged emails are barely distinguishable.

Any news on this one? The loss of conditional formatting in the new Outlook is still a deal breaker for me. The ability to color-code and highlight emails from certain recipients / with certain keywords / mentioning my name in the <to> field used to be a true godsend in the old version, particularly when dealing with hundreds of emails per day.

I use this only for the Copilot integration. It's very buggy for even the functionality that is included. I submitted many feedback items and reached out to support multiple times. I gave up on the feedback. I'm not sure that the devs or product managers at Microsoft look at them or even care.

Click on View Tab, Click on View Settings, Conditional Formatting.

This feature was recently added. Hooray!! I'm trying it out right now.

Also, unread messages are easier to identify with clear, distinct blue color subject and bar on the left.

I use the conditional formatting features to highlight external emails, which helps flag anything that could potentially be a risk and also to help prioritise. I hope this feature does return.

I really like the look of New Outlook. But there are too many feature that don't work, are missing, are only half-implemented, etc that it's affecting my work. Have to change back to the old look until the new one is much farther along.
