Android Teams Phone - Couldn't connect to workplace join. Android Device Administrator

Hi all

I am really frustrated. We are trialling Teams Voice and we cannot get our phone enrolled. We have policy, but phone just refuse to join. I see Couldnt connect workplace join.

No Network restrictions, no blocked ports. Any help would be great

    @Adminmattb, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

    For our issue, firstly, check if the Enrollment device limit has been reached. By default, one user can enroll 15 devices by default. Secondly, check if the user has Intune license assigned. Thirdly, based as I know, when both Android Enterprise (work profile) and Android device administrator are allowed under Enrollment device platform restrictions. The device will choose to use Android Enterprise (work profile) instead of Android device administrator. If the device is not supported with Android Enterprise, please block Android Enterprise (work profile) for this user.

    Hi Crystal

    Sorry to reopen this - I am still having issues with some of our phones - These are logfs from a Yealink VP59 on latest Firmware

    We have MP54's from Yealink working fine. I am sure the Firmware/Teams version for the VP59 is causing the issue

    Seeing very similar here, suddenly this morning all 24 of our Yealink MP54 handsets failing "Couldn't connect to Workplace Join. Try again, or contact your admin."

    Many devices show as 'Signed out' username under Teams Devices. Triggered updates on a couple and reboots. Nothing. Got device logs and can see the following:
