How to stop the download of SharePoint files from Teams Desktop app

We recently went live with 365 and are working on making sure if people are not coming from our IP they can access their files but they can't download them. We set this up using conditional access and it works from the web-based app and will give you a download-blocked message:

However, if you open up the Teams desktop app and either go to the files tab or the teams then files it allows you to download them with no problem:

Does anyone know how to block this?

    Hi @Sean Stark ,

    In your conditional access settings you need to ensure that "Mobile apps and desktop" clients is selected and not just Browser.
