Is it possible to recover a microsoft account after removed as a main sign in account?

Hello,

In my microsoft account I accidentally removed my main sign in email1 from the microsoft log in, I clicked on "remove account". I have other aliases and emails linked to the same account. When I tried to log in by typing the email1 address and password, it says " email1 doesn't exist", although I can still access everything else from email2 and email3 and old e-mails from e-mail1. It also seems like this domain turned into a different alias and email, which it gives me some sort of access to email1 (such as authenticator app and the other linked emails) but it doesn't give me access to the future emails sent to the old email1.

For example I have an account in a game website with email1. I tried to access the game but it has a 2-step authentication that sent a code to email1 (which I can't access to verify the sent code). But then I tried to access the same game through my xbox account ( that it used to be email1 and got turned into the new alias and email, which is linked to everything else), and I was able to log in.

So I do have some sort of accesses but not the whole access to the email1 account.

Hopefully I'm not being too confused about it but I would like to know if I can still recover the email1 since I didn't close the account, I thought it was removed as "main sign in email" instead.

TIA,

DK.

Once an account alias ending in Hotmail/Live/MSN/Outlook.com has been removed or deleted, there is no way to reverse the process or recover the same account.

Should be able to sign in with the other alias (or primary) then add the alias back if desired.
