Hi Team,

I have visual studio 2017 license key which was working fine till April, now when I try to update my VS using the same key am getting an error that the key is invalid. (which was working before). Can anyone help.

    Hello @Abhirama ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

    From the screenshot, we can see => License: Trial extension (for evaluation purposes only). Looks like VS Enterprise 2017 wasn’t activated before and it was still in trial period.

    Can you double confirm that the product key you are using is valid and is for Visual Studio Enterprise 2017? You may also check here: Your Product Keys.

    Please also try to close VS and rename this folder => C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local.IdentityService then activate VS again.

    If this still doesn’t work, please go to Visual Studio Subscription Support > choose Account, Subscription and Billing Support > select country/region or communicate with your administrator, seller to first confirm that the product key is valid.
