Fix Word File Error

Hi. I am using Word on MacbookAir. Today I finished my academic paper and saved the file in a different location. It showed that file is saved and I closed the Word file. Now I cannot find the file. The file name is visible only in Word ->recents, when I click to open it shows that file is removed or deleted. The file is not in my trash as well. I got a panic attack because of that, month of working is gone in a second. Hope you can help me restore and find the file. Pls pls pls help!!!

Based on your screenshot, you save the document in iCloud Drive.

I suggest you check if you sign out the iCloud Drive, you can go to the iCloud Drive directly and check if you can find the document.

    Unfortunately, iCloud is not a supported cloud service for editing Word files. I recommend that you try OneDrive instead, it's engineered for that job.
