Failure to acquire Azure phone numbers (Toll free)

Hi,

I receive this error when trying to get a phone number. I had a phone number which I released it couple of months back and my subscription is paid. I should not be having an issue acquiring a phone number but I still cannot.

Appreciate the help here.

Error:

An error has occurred while purchasing a phone number. You may need to be allow-listed to have your phone number quota upgraded or you can request a special order. Choose one of the following options:

  • Create a support request for ACS Support by using: "Issue Type: Technical", "Service Type: Communication Services" and "Problem Type: Acquiring a phone number". Learn more
  • Create a special order for Telephone Numbers. Learn more

    @Peyman Panahi Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A, apologize for any inconvenience caused on this.

    By default, Customers are limited to purchasing one phone number per tenant for Azure Communication Services through the Phone Numbers SDK or through the Azure Portal.

    If your existing ACS resource has a valid phone number and if you have deleted it then you won't be able to acquire the new telephone number immediately, you need to wait to repurchase until the end of the billing cycle as explained here.

    To request a new phone number, you need to go through the Manual process (special order numbers) by following the steps mentioned here special order.
