how do I fix run-time error 53 when opening word, linked to not having an Library/Application Support/Adobe file MacPDFM

    Hi,

    I suggest you go to this location:

    ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word

    Then remove the Adobe Add-in "linkCreation.dotm".

    This problem was actually answered in a previous Q/A thread about the topic. It's about deleting a "linking file" from the Library folder!
