Create Lake Database - properties window doesn't appear

I am trying to create a Lake Database in Synapse Analytics and the property window doesn't come up so I am not able to give it a name and set other properties.

    We had the same issue this week but looks to be back to normal again

    If you are unable to create a new Lake Database in Azure Synapse Analytics because the property window is not appearing, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check your browser: Ensure that you are using a supported browser and that it is up to date. Azure Synapse Analytics supports the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.
    2. Clear your browser cache: Clear your browser cache and cookies to ensure that there are no issues with cached data.
    3. Try a different browser: If the issue persists, try using a different browser to see if that resolves the issue.
    4. Check your permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to create a new Lake Database in Azure Synapse Analytics. You need to be a member of the Synapse Data Administrator or Synapse Administrator role to create a new Lake Database.
    5. Check the Synapse workspace: Verify that there are no issues with the Synapse workspace. You can try creating a new workspace or checking the status of the existing workspace.

    According to the official documentation: How-to: Create an empty lake database. Make sure that you have meet all the prerequisites while creating an empty lake database.

    • At least Synapse User role permissions are required for exploring a lake database template from Gallery.
    • Synapse Administrator, Synapse Contributor, or Synapse Artifact Publisher permissions are required on the Synapse workspace for creating a lake database.
    • Storage Blob Data Contributor permissions are required on data lake when using the create table From data lake option.

    As per the repro, I was able to create a new Lake database in Azure Synapse Analytics studio without any issue.
