Hi All,

I am trying to install Exchange 2016 Server CU18 and I have installed all the required pre-requisites and the software is being installed on a Windows 2016 Standard Server with GUI

Hre is what I am doing:

PS D:\> .\setup.exe /mode:install /role:managementtools /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 Cumulative Update 18 Unattended Setup

Copying Files...

File copy complete. Setup will now collect additional information needed for installation.

The Windows component Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra isn't installed on this computer and needs to be installed before Exchange Setup can begin.

The Exchange Server setup operation didn't complete. More details can be found in ExchangeSetup.log located in the <SystemDrive>:\ExchangeSetupLogs folder.

The results are the same even when using Exchange Setup GUI and selecting install any pre-requisites required.

Hi ,
Please try to run the following command to add the component. And restart the computer after installation.

Install-WindowsFeature Server-Gui-Mgmt-Infra,Server-Gui-Shell  

In addition, please ensure that you have met the system requirements and all prerequisites required to install Exchange 2016, especially Exchange 2016 CU18 requires .NET Framework 4.8.
