Hi

I bought a Windows device some time ago, and I want to change the email registered with the device for login. I was prompted to enter my Windows system password, I entered the password, and an error message popped up. Please solve my problem

    A PIN is a set of numbers, or a combination of letters and numbers, that you choose yourself. Using a PIN is a quick, secure way to sign in to your Windows device. Your PIN is securely stored on your device.

    To change your PIN when you're already signed in:

    Make sure you're connected to the internet, so the change syncs to your Microsoft account.

    Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.

    Select PIN (Windows Hello) > Change PIN and then follow the instructions. You will need to know and enter your old PIN in order to change to a new one.

    Note: If you have forgotten your PIN and signed in to your machine using a password, fingerprint, security key, or other means, you can also select I forgot my PIN and follow the directions to verify your account and select a new one.

    The PIN you use to access your device is different from your Microsoft account password. If you need to reset your Microsoft account password, see Change your Microsoft account password.

    Change your password

    Go to account.microsoft.com and if you’re not already signed in, sign in with the username and current password for the account you want to update.

    From the navigation header, select Security and because you’re accessing sensitive info, you’ll need to enter the password for this account again.

    From the Password security tile, select Change my password.

    On the Change your password page, enter your current password and then enter your new password.

    For additional security, select the optional checkbox which prompts you to update your password every 72 days.

    Select Save.
