My Team channel is missing

My Team has a few channels and one of them just disappeared overnight, any idea how to resurrect it?

If your channel is deleted, you can recover it within 30 days. The following steps show the process to restore a deleted channel.

1.Click More options next to the target team > choose Manage team.

2.In the management page, open Channels tab and expand the Deleted list > Click the Restore button.

Meanwhile, you could check Teams web client . If there is no problem in Teams web client ,we recommend you delete Teams cache file client and restart it. For more details about how to delete Teams cache file, you could refer to this link's step.

How do I get it back if it's not in that list? That's the problem. It went missing from the Team and also the deleted list.

I mean it's sort of nice that I lost a year of work that's being presented to a worldwide audience simply because Teams depreciated Wiki and it's taking me a month to investigate all the possible options for simply keeping my content the same. It's a relief to not have to fix this constantly, it's just such a terrible platform. Really silly Teams is causing me to lose so much time and causing so much frustration, but totally expected. OneNote doesn't covert Wikis well and has a terrible UI that makes it useless as a Wiki anyway, and embedded custom built webpages in a Tab has such terrible cache management I can't rely on people seeing the most up to date content. It's a fantastic use case I can shoot up the ladder to corporate as a case where MS software is a miserable failure breaking communication and a year of work. I mean is sad the project died because of bad software but also nice because I don't have to fix the problems we encountered because MS can't be relied upon as a productivity tool.

But let's be honest, using Teams as a channel to share emerging technologies (my team) is super ironic since it's got a 2003 backend that's loosely associated with the 2007 UX on the front end.

Also about the issue of your channel being lost, whether it has been more than a month since the channel was deleted, and if it has been more than a month, the channel is currently unrecoverable.

You can send a feedback directly to Microsoft to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

The channel went missing, I'm not sure it was ever deleted, but if it was deleted it was missing from the deleted list in less than 24 hours.

It's not that I personally had a bad experience, it's just not designed for what we do -- not even close, and nobody likes it because it takes so much longer to do anything. I can barely do my job becasue something like adding a link and rendering a thumbnail is so difficult to do. I have 15 years web dev experience. It's an entire ecosystem with no UX consideration ans no designers or developers know how to build anything and we need to rely on IT to hold our hand. It's absolutely bonkers.

If MS just hired a design team and then listened to them, perhaps in 10 years MS 365 wouldn't be so terrible.
