Date/Time Not Staying Current on Android Enterprise Devices Enrolled in Intune

We are utilizing Zebra TC72 and TC77 android devices (currently on Android OS version 10) enrolled as Corporate Owned Dedicated (Kiosk) devices through Intune, using the Android Enterprise format/setting.

In the settings on these devices, they maintain the default setting of "Use Network-provided Time". As I enroll them and finish the setup, the time/date appears current, however I have received numerous complaints from end users that the time/date become off by varying amounts (sometimes minutes, hours, etc; nothing consistent). When checking these devices, the "Use Network-provided Time" setting is still enabled.

I have not been able to locate any related settings to configure within an Android Enterprise configuration profile in Intune.

Any insight would be appreciated!

One possible thought: I noticed in the NTP Server, that there was no NTP server set. If your insight leans towards this being the culprit, can that be set through Intune Configuration Profiles?

@Angelyn O'Brien, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Based on my researching, I didn't find the policy to set the NTP server.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-restrictions-android-for-work#power-settings

To clarify the issue, please check the following information:

    1. Did our issue only affect with Zebra devices? For other Android device, did they have the issue?
    2. For the Zebra device, if it is not enrolled, will it has the issue?

After researching, it seems the setting can be checked via Android code. Maybe you can contact the device manufacture or Android support to check on the time sync issue:

Hope the above information can help.
