[FIXED] Issue with Remote Desktop client for macOS - stuck at "Searching workspaces"

Question

Environment:

• macOS Ventura (13), I don't have the exact built but it is up-to-date
• latest Remote Desktop app from AppStore (also tested with beta Version 10.8.4 (2111))

Issue:

After launching the app, user tries to add a workspace:

• tried with user email address
• also tried with https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com

 Nothing happens, and it just says "Searching for workspaces..." and keeps wheeling infinitely...

 

The issue is not with the workspace because:

• the user can access the workspace fine via the web client
• admin (me) can access the user's workspace fine with the client for Windows

Any clue please? Thanks in advance.

Fixed now by using this link in Chrome (didn't work in Safari):
