Can't upload certain file types to Function App code

I'm trying to create a Function App.
I can upload files to the code + test section, but when I try to upload .cs or .csproj files I get a can't upload files larger than 5MB error. The files are 1KB in size and if I change the file extension they upload fine.

I understand that you are encountering an error while uploading the cs/csproj files to the functionapp.
I am able to reproduce the same issue at my end too. While I checking this internally, I am sharing you the workaround which you can leverage to unblock.
The Functions editor built into the Azure portal lets you update your code and your function.json file directly inline. This is recommended only for small changes or proofs of concept - best practice is to use a local development tool like VS Code.
After the development and testing in local dev environment, you can deploy your app to Azure using the various deployment methods available in Function App.

2023-07-13T07:17:32.24+00:00 @Tim It seems like the .csproj and .cs files are being filtered at our end and it was this way since the beginning. As a workaround, you can deploy your app to Azure using the various deployment methods available in Function App.
