How do I access a Traditional Outline in Microsoft Word 365

I used to be able to start an outline and word automatically formed it as I typed. I don't where that has gone or how to get it back.

    Hi,

    Did you mean you want to use the Outline mode in Word?

    You can go to View tab- Views- Outline:
