How to register for learn profile?

I am taking the Azure Fundamental modules. One of the exercise is to explore the "Sandbox".

I have pressed the "activate sandbox" button and all activation processes are completed successfully. However, the half screen prompt me to "sign in" with a footnote "If your account doesn't have a registered learn profile, this process will complete that for you".

I pressed "sign in" and input usual account/password, it prompts me back the same screen "sign in" windows again. Therefore, I am not able to work on Sandbox successfully. How to resolve the issue?

    @Chan, CH Calvin ,

Apologies for the inconvenience with this issue.

Based on my understanding, you're practicing AZ-900/AzureFundamentals (3 modules listed) but you're facing sign-in loop issue.

Edit: Copied the solution that worked for @Chan, CH Calvin (Thanks for sharing)

I have fingered out a temporary workaround to get rid of it. After clicking "activate sandbox", go to do manual sign-in in Azure portal (portal.azure.com). Once it is done, go back to the learning portal and click "sign-in" again, the Cloud Shell will appear successfully in learning module.

Why am I unable to sign in when using the Learn sandbox?

We are currently working on a fix for this issue and are collecting information from those who are experiencing this as well as providing updates here:

    Hello Chan, CH Calvin

If you're experiencing issues signing in to the Azure Sandbox while working on the Azure Fundamental modules, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Clear browser cache and cookies: Start by clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes, stored data can interfere with the sign-in process. After clearing the cache and cookies, close and reopen your browser before attempting to sign in again.

Use an InPrivate/Incognito window: Open a new private or incognito window in your browser and try signing in to the Azure Sandbox from there. This helps eliminate any conflicts with extensions or cached data from your regular browsing session.

Try a different browser: If you're using one browser and encountering issues, try using a different browser altogether. This can help determine if the issue is specific to the browser you were initially using.

Check for browser extensions: Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might be interfering with the sign-in process. Some extensions, such as ad-blockers or privacy-focused tools, can cause issues with authentication. Temporarily disabling them can help identify if they're causing the problem.

Verify account details: Double-check that you are entering the correct account credentials (username and password). Ensure there are no typos or accidental spaces. If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, make sure you're using the correct one associated with your learning profile.

Use a different account: If possible, try signing in with a different Microsoft account to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to your account or a more general issue.

Contact Microsoft Learn support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to reach out to Microsoft Learn support for further assistance. They can investigate the problem and provide guidance specific to your situation.

Remember to provide specific details about the issue you're experiencing and any error messages you encounter when contacting support.
