when i wan to use workflow foundation in vs 2002 , i do not find the template of WF，and i do not find the component in installer tool.
Could you please how to create workflow project? i remember in vs 2017 that can be used.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
In Visual Studio Installer, did you click Modify and then switch to Individual components tab? After you search workflow or workflow foundation, you should see the Windows Workflow Foundation component(Install Windows Workflow Foundation).
If Windows Workflow Foundation doesn't appear on your side in VS Installer, please try to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\, back up the Installer folder, rename it. Download a new bootstrapper file from here: Downloads, double click to run it and wait for VS Installer to finish installing. Restart VS Installer and check again.

hi, the issue is still existed, even if I reinstall total vs2022 , it it relative with my parallel desktop virtual machine of Mac book M2 chip laptop?
my vs2022 is installed in win 11 which is hosted in parallels desktop virtual machine of mac book M2 chip
if here are some difference in community and professional version of visual studio ?
or only support in English? my pc os is Chinese environment.

I suggest close VS and VS Installer and then download a new VS bootstrapper file from here: Downloads. After that double click to run it, wait for the "new" VS Installer appear, switch to Individual components tab and check if "Windows Workflow Foundation" component is available. Even you don’t start installing VS, you should see the "Windows Workflow Foundation" component listed in VS Installer.
"Windows Workflow Foundation" component is also available in professional version of VS. For PC OS Chinese environment, I don’t think it’s the cause. Did you modify something like system files/Registry keys/VS files/cache files? Are there any special limitations or settings on your machine? Are you using any antivirus? If so, please try to disable it temporarily and try the above steps again.
Besides, instead of searching it in Search box under Individual components tab, if you manually scroll down, will you find it?

I’m afraid yes. As not all the workloads and components are supported in the VS 2022 ARM version, the Windows Workflow Foundation component is not available.
