We are unable to access usage analytics for our company's MS teams app. Here is what we have tried and how we have been blocked.

  1. We cannot 'take ownership' in the Apps: Developer Portal in order to follow the instructions outlined here. We receive this error with status code 500 pictured below.

  1. We cannot access our app's usage report in the partner center per the instructions outlined here. The Office Addins section and Teams App Usage tab are not displayed in our partner center.

    Hi @Ben

If you want to see usage analytics for the MS Teams app, you can do so through the Teams admin center.

Select Analytics&reports in the left navigation bar of Teams admin center, and then click Usage reports.

Please note that you must be either a global admin, global reader, or Teams service admin to view the reports in the Microsoft Teams admin center.

Hi Ben, thanks for raising your issue.

    1. For the issue where you are not able to take ownership of the app in developer portal, we will check this with engineering team regarding the reason of getting 500 status code and will update you in this thread once we hear from them.
    2. For the issue where you cannot access your app's usage report in the partner centre. We recommend you raise your issue/concern in Get support in Partner Center - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn

    Thanks,

    Prasad Das
