Current scenario:

  • (1) Automated email notification (via job scheduler) containing expiring certificates of generic mailboxes will be sent weekly to our Operations mailbox.
  • Operations team will then send manual email notice to each and every generic mailbox owners that their pki cert will about to expire.
  • Please note that we have third party pki certificate vendor thus we cannot enable the automatic certificate generator in Azure AD.

Question: Is there upcoming feature in Azure AD to send automatic email notification to generic mailbox owner/user that their pki cert is about to expire e.g. 15 days before expiry?

    Hi @Ruiz Nelli

Question: Is there upcoming feature in Azure AD to send automatic email notification to generic mailbox owner/user that their pki cert is about to expire e.g. 15 days before expiry?

As far as I know, currently it's still not feasible and I haven't seen official statement about any new or upcoming features for this scenario. Given this, I'd recommend leaving your feedback for this feature here: https://feedback.azure.com/
