Hello,
I bought a new pc recently and I put a work or school account on microsoft teams so that I can check it while on my pc. This, however, lead to a plethora of problems like an antivirus being installed on my pc without my consent, which I believe may be using 5 gigabytes of memory on my pc as I see no other program running that can waste that much. I am in the process of uninstalling it however I am facing problems.

Anyway that is not the main reason for this. The school or work microsoft account associated itself with my computer, hence the antivirus being installed. I have tried disassociating it from my pc but have learnt that the device is managed by intune. The pc is not owned by them or has any information from them. I wanted to disassociate the account however I am unable due to the intune problem. Is this a problem I must bring up with the owners of the work or school account or is there anyway that microsoft may help me with this if I give them the device id on the microsoft account page?

@David Rabinovich, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, it seems you choose register the device into organization when sign in Teams which make the device register into Azure AD and then enroll into Intune. And it seems Antivirus is assign to the user. So the device installed it automatically.

For your situation, you need to unenroll it from Intune and then remove the app. To do this, you can go to Settings-> Accounts-> Access work or school to disconnect the associated account. After that, go to company portal website https://portal.manage.microsoft.com/ and sign in with the associated Microsoft account to see if the device is there. If yes, remove it.

Please try the above suggestion and if there's any update, feel free to let us know.
