Hello, the fine tuning has been disabled for a long time. Any solution in the near future? How you will solve the capacity issue? Any date?

@Lugwig Thanks for the question, Fine Tuning is disabled due to capacity issues. On Your Own Data was proposed as an alternative, Fine-tuning only changes the model weights and biases. It does not learn anything about the text within the training data. The Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pattern is a technique to retrieve language from information system at query time to augment or generate the answers from. We call this Azure OpenAI on your data and it does not require fine-tuning to achieve this.

Thanks for reaching out to us, as Jimmy said, currently Fine Tuning is disabled due to capacity issues.

One possible solution in the near future is deploying to X region for fine tuned models trained in Y region.

Unfortunately, there is no ETA for that. However, product team and engineering team are working on that part actively.
