AI studio showing No deployment found and no access to Create new Deployment

Question

I recently got Contributor access to our enterprise subscription as well as got access to Azure Open AI.

However, in the AI studio, when I want to try something (e.g. Chat playground), it says "No deployments found". Also, the "Create new deployment" button is not accessible (screenshot below). I have the contributor access and the region is East US 2.

Am I missing something? Do I need to have access to some other Azure services or change the region? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Currently the access to this services is only granted by an application.
Here is a form to send an application.

So it's not enough to have Contributor access

Sikder Tahsin Al Amin Note that, User needs to be a reader at the Subscription level and should have Cognitive Services OpenAI Contributor on the resource level to work.

Similar issue has been addressed here and here . Please let me know if you are still blocked.
