I can succsessfully distribute apps for android from Google Store but if I import .apk file into Intune and assign it to same User collection, there will be no activity. I have seen this behavior 2 years ago when I tried this for the first time and gave up. Now same need occured. Also I can download same .apk file from vendor web side and install it successfully (but manually) for the same device.

@Pavel Yannara Mirochnitchenko, Thanks for posting in Q&A. From your description, it seems the app deployed does not installed on Android device.

@Pavel Yannara Mirochnitchenko, Thanks for the reply. In fact, LOB deploy via Android Enterprise differ from non-Android Enterprise. For Android Enteprises, we deploy the app via Managed Google Play private app. For Android device administrator device, we deploy the app via Line of Business app type.
For your situation, you can deploy the app via the Managed Google Play private (LOB) apps with the steps in the following link:

Thanks Crystal. I think this is bad admin experience that you can attempt to distribute LoB for device type which are not supported at all. Makes things very confusing.

This feature requires additional actions and creating developer account to google requires an payment.
@Pavel Yannara Mirochnitchenko, Thanks for the reply. Yes, this is controlled by Google. As the app actually is uploaded to Google in the background.
