Hello

I need to generate and obtain a test Ost file using Outlook 2010 (because after Outlook 2013 the Ost format has changed) for my development testing, got 2 problems:

  1. Cannot login to my outlook.com using smtp.office365.com/outlook.office365.com and correct settings, of course Outlook 2010 does not support current new authentication methods, is there any update or workaround for that?
  2. If I enter my own POP/Imap server info it will connect over non secure connection, but in both cases (pop/imap) I will have Pst file in:

C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

C:\Users\Admin\Documents\Outlook Files

Cannot have it to make Ost file, any idea how to generate Ost?

  • Update: After installing Outlook Hotmail Connector, I could add my hotmail.com account but got error:
  • Your Microsoft Exchange administrator has blocked the version of Outlook that you are using. Contact your administrator for assistance.

Now how to generate an Ost file using Outlook 2010?

Is there any sample Ost files made using Outlook 2010 or older? :(
