How to verify domain without hosting a file ?

I am currently working on integrating Outlook Single Sign-On (SSO) into my Wix website to allow users to sign in using their Outlook accounts. However, I have encountered an issue during the domain verification process.

Outlook requires domain verification, which involves hosting a file in the root directory of our website. Unfortunately, Wix does not provide access to the root directory, making it challenging to complete the verification on the Wix platform.
I urgently need to integrate Outlook SSO into my Wix website. Is there an alternative method for domain verification that can be used with Wix websites? For example, does Outlook offer other approaches, such as the DNS record method, for domain verification?
Also, I contacted Wix support and they suggested using the DNS record method. Can anyone provide guidance on how to do that?

    Hi @Dylan Jasper ,

Not quite sure about what you mean by "Outlook requires domain verification", are you talking about the Outlook desktop client or you are trying to verify domain in Microsoft 365? If it's the latter, hopefully you can find the document below helpful. It guides you through how to verify the domain by adding a TXT record
Connect your DNS records at Wix to Microsoft 365

By "Outlook requires domain verification" i mean when we try to integrate our azure.portal registered app into any website and it asks us for domain verification.

Thanks @Dylan Jasper for the clarification. Sorry that I mainly focus on the "Outlook" tags which is dedicated to supporting issues about the Outlook desktop clients, so I am afraid I can hardly continue helping since from the description your issue is more related to Azure AD.

Noticed that you've also added the "Azure Active Directory Domain Services" tag, you can wait for some more time and see if community users visiting that tag can share any insights here. Meanwhile, I've also added the "Azure Active Directory" tag to try expanding the audience of this thread.

In addition, below are two links I found about publisher domain in the Azure portal, you can take a loot at them and see if either of them can be of some help:
