Hi,

What permission/right (in Sharepoint) is leading to the issue below, and not able to delete the macro of the Excel file?

Hi,

Where did you edit the Workbook? Form Desktop or browser?

Can you open the VB editor?

Can you find the module and the code from the editor?

I suggest you check if Macros in list and confirm if the macro saved in this Workbook or other Workbooks:

Then if you can open the VB editor, try toexport all code modulesfrom it. Re-save the Workbook as .xlsx file format, open the new Workbook and import code modules then save as .xlsm file format.

I do not know why there is "Compile error" to the last line below.
