Azure active directory "Already in use by another directory"

Question

Hi, I created azure active directory but I selected wrong location, so I deleted it but when I want to create it again so I'm getting message "Already in use by another directory". Is any change to select same domain after I deleted it? I don't understand why it's saying this when I deleted it before..

Error message:

Already in use by another directory

Issue:

When creating an Azure AD tenant, you accidentally selected the wrong location prompting you to delete your tenant and re-create it, but you were receiving the error message above.

Solution:

In order to resolve your issue, you had to wait until the tenant was fully deleted on the back-end and afterwards you were able to successfully re-create your tenant.
