How can I find who the company administrator is for my Visual Studio Pro subscription?

Background: I've had a VS Pro subscription for around 10 years now. When looking to install VS Pro 2022 on a new work laptop, I was denied approval because the Licence Approver (yup, that's a real job title at work) couldn't find any record of my VS Pro subscription. However, Azure, my.visualstudio.com and Visual Studio 2022 Pro (on my old laptop) all say I have a valid subscription.

Last week I tried sending a message to my Visual Studio subscription administrator, through my.visualstudio.com, but that has, so far, gone unanswered. So how can I track down the contact details for my Visual Studio subscription administrator (or, at least, the person Microsoft thinks is administering my subscription) to get this straightened out? For example, an email address, name or phone number?

I suspect that, since I've had a subscription for much longer than the current process has been in place at work, some manager who has long since gone purchased the subscription and it's now being paid for as a line item in someone's budget, and they don't even know it.

    Hello @Simon Elms ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

It’s related to subscription and account. Please kindly try to contact here: Visual Studio Subscription Support(scroll down => select Account, Subscription and Billing Support => select country/region => directly call/live chat => confirm if your VS Pro subscription is indeed valid and if there’s any recorded information of your administrator).

You may also try Get Help tab => Contact my admin through my.visualstudio.com but looks like you have tried this way. If so, please ignore this method.

    Sincerely,

    Tianyu
