[IMMEDIATE HELP NEEDED] ALL OF MY 40 PAGES IN MICROSOFT WORD HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO STARS *****

Question

I have been working on a book that I've been writing for weeks now. Its currently 40 pages in length however as I was writing more today in microsoft word, and all of a sudden all my words were transformed into stars like this - (****). I've tried to edit and undo edit and so forth but nothing has brought my words back to normal.

My current page length like I said was 40 pages but now its only 24 pages.

Can someone please help me out here.

I would very much appreciate any feedback into getting my work back.

Hi,

Did this problem only appear in specific document or all Word documents?

Did you change the Language in Mac?

What version of Word did you use? Word for Mac 2011 or other versions?

I suggest you try to update your Office for Mac and check if this issue is still existed.
