Hello Team,

Help me with this query.

Automanage supports the following Linux distributions and versions:

CentOS 7.3+, 8
RHEL 7.4+, 8
Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, 20.04
SLES 12 (SP3-SP5 only), SLES 15 using the below link

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automanage/automanage-linux#supported-linux-distributions-and-versions
The article you provided is almost a year old and it show what it supported right now. Ubuntu 22.04 has been released for almost one year, but it is not supported in Automanage as of right now.

Will newer versions of Linux be supported by Automanage?

Kindly help on this query, is there any new versionof linux be supported by Automanage.

    Hi Karri Srujana (MINDTREE LIMITED)

As of now, the latest version of Ubuntu, which is 22.04, is not supported by Automanage. However, Microsoft is constantly working to add support for new versions of Linux distributions in Automanage.

I recommend keeping an eye on the official Azure Automanage documentation for any updates on supported Linux distributions and versions. You can also subscribe to the Azure Automanage release notes to receive notifications about any updates or changes to the service.

In the meantime, if you need to use a newer version of Ubuntu that is not currently supported by Automanage, you can still manually configure the necessary services and settings to follow best practices for your virtual machines.
