Unable to add instance to Update Management Center (preview)

Hello,
I am trying to a add instances to update management center(preview), but getting error
" Virtual machines are greyed out because they are in an unsupported region"
Instance details:
Windows 2016 standard
UK South
Azure Update Manager

UK South is a supported region both for Azure VM's or Azure Arc-enabled servers. So, I don't think region is issue in this case.
Hope the machine's operating system is x64 based but not x86. x86 isn't supported for any operating system.
Please refer this support matrix Azure document and validate if your instance falls under supported category or not.

Actual reason for greying out could be the patch orchestration option selected. Please let me know what option this machine has. Thanks for your reply.
I tried to change the patch orchestration, but it is showing that the VM is created from specialized image.
When would the custom images be in the area of support for Update Management Center (preview).
What will be a best option for my case as I believe Azure Update Management will be replaced by Update Management Center (preview)

2023-08-31T12:45:36.7566667+00:00 Yes Em, Currently vm created from custom image are not supported for scheduled patching and periodic assessment due to some limitations. But these can be assessed/patched using ondemand operations like check for updates and One-time update. We are working on full support for custom images and it will be added sometime in next quarter. (Q4 2023)
