Hello,

I'm having an issue while trying to enable the "organisation" tab in Teams.

All relevant users have a manager added in their profile and the feature is enabled in Teams admin panel :

However, I still have an issue to display the organisation in Teams as shown here :User's image

This issue is on all users, whether in the desktop app or the web app.

I saw various posts about this subject but the solutions were either update the app (it's up to date and I also have the issue with the web access) or delete the manager and add it again (doesn't work either and the issue is on all our organisation).

Relevant information : The organisation is perfectly displayed in Windows start menu if the user wish to display it.

Would you be able to help please ?

Best regards.

I'm sorry to hear that the organization view does not exist for this user in Microsoft Teams. This could be due to a few reasons.

First, ensure that the user is properly signed in to their Microsoft Teams account. Sometimes, signing out and signing back in can resolve any issues related to the organization view.

If the issue persists, it is possible that the user does not have the necessary permissions to view the organization view. The organization view is typically available to users with administrative roles or specific permissions granted by the organization's IT department.

I recommend reaching out to the IT department or the Microsoft Teams administrator within your organization to check if the user has the necessary permissions to access the organization view. They can provide further guidance and assist in resolving the issue.

If the user is already an admin or has the required permissions, there might be a technical issue with their account or the Microsoft Teams application itself. In this case, it would be helpful to provide more specific details about the error message or any other issues the user is facing, so that we can further investigate and provide a more accurate solution.

Please let me know if there's any other information you can provide or any specific error messages you're encountering, so I can assist you better.

Please check in your Azure AD Job Information section, if the user's Manager propriety/attribute is propagated from your Active Directory.

I found a solution to my issue.

My users were lacking permissions to view other users properties and organisation.

I created a custom role in Azure AD and gave those 3 permissions to my users :

My users are finally able to see the company's organisational chart in the organisation tab in Teams.
