Hello,

I already post my question at the tag SQL Server; after 2 weeks of work, they thing that the problem is due to the fact that my old application Visual Studio uses User Instances, which, for them is an old feature.
The message delivered is

And the beginning of the code, trying to open the first DB is

Please tell me your diagnostic, ans possibly any solution to recover my application

For Visual Studio people: I've been investigating Marcel's problem with getting the user instance to run in the thread https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1352060/0x80004005-error-when-connecting-to-sql-server-201.

My recommendation is that he rewrites the application to not use user instances, since this is an old and dusty feature. For some reason, Marcel finds this difficult, so maybe he needs some help with that. As for why the user instance does not start, I have very little idea; the error messages are not very helpful.
