error message when trying to assign roles to resource via IAM

I am brand new to azure. I created a new resource and App Service then added a member to Azure using the Users and Groups tile in the dashboard. I gave them Application Developer permissions through the assigned roles tab in the same tile. Now I am trying to grant that member permissions by adding a role assignment through the IAM tab of my App Service in the portal.

I can't see any users listed there however, and it says "An error occurred. Please try again later.". I've tried again later for a couple of days now so I'm pretty sure I am missing something.

Please help. How can I add m team members to my subscription/resource/app service?

Hello @Harman Bassi and thanks for providing the network trace. The "An error occurred. Please try again later" error thrown by the Azure Portal when attempting to retrieve Azure AD users and groups fails due to Chrome, not Azure or Azure AD, error net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED. Usually the former is caused by bad DNS settings. There's plenty of guides on the internet about it. Eg: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/errnamenotresolved/fffb6600-884a-4007-ba0a-7e0ca97c1f6d
