i created new microsoft account and try to access azure portal and azure active directory but it is asking to add account as external but i am the only user and default tenant name is not visible

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, from above description I could understand that you are trying to access Azure AD or other Azure services with your personal account and getting error similar to below screenshot:

    Please do correct me if this is not the case by responding in the comments section.

    Else follow the below actions:

    • This could be because you don't have any default directory created in your tenant.

    If you navigate to Setting (top right like in below screenshot) it would show you no directories to show up.

    • Since Azure AD is now Microsoft Entra ID,

    The free edition of Microsoft Entra ID is included with a subscription of a commercial online service such as Azure, Dynamics 365, Intune, Power Platform, and others.

    So either you may get one of the above mentioned subscription or you needed P1 or P2 subscription:
