Hi @Ron Doyle ,
You may need to create a new PST file and copy the contents of your Draft folder to it. Then, you can delete the original Draft folder from your IMAP account and create a new one with the same name. This will make Outlook recognize the new Draft folder as a Mail and Post Items folder. To do this, you need to follow these steps:
- In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
- On the Data Files tab, click Add and choose Outlook Data File (.pst) as the file type. Give your new PST file a name and location, and click OK.
- In the left pane, expand your new PST file and right-click on it. Choose New Folder and name it Drafts.
- In the left pane, expand your IMAP account and drag and drop all the messages from your original Drafts folder to the new Drafts folder in your PST file.
- Right-click on your original Drafts folder in your IMAP account and choose Delete Folder. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
- Right-click on your IMAP account and choose New Folder. Name it Drafts and click OK.
This will create a new Drafts folder in your IMAP account that is compatible with the Mail and Post Items folder type.
Besides, Support for Office 2013 ended on April 11, 2023 and there will be no extension and no extended security updates. You'll still be able to use it, but we recommend you upgrade to a newer version of Office so you can stay up to date with all the latest features, patches, and security updates.
