Hello,

Our organization has a OneDrive. On this OneDrive, a team has access to a specific folder. Member of this team don't have same access right in this folder.

Architecture of folder looks like :

  • data.xlsx
  • CA.xlsx
  • DP.xlsx
  • Control.xlsx

Into Control.xlsx, I have external links to data.xlsx, CA.xlsx and DP.xlsx

My issue is when I open data, CA, DP and then Control, everything is allright. But, if I just open Control, lot of error like #REF appear, etc...

I'm not sure to understand how external links work even after read documentation. 5 differents person has to have same version of Excel (it's possible). But, what about links management? Some of the team don't need to open data, CA and DP...

Thank you in advance

    Hi,

Based on your description, I suggest check if the Calculation options is Manual mode, if it is Manual mode then the Excel links may not work unless the source workbook is open.

Go to File- Options- Trust Center- Trust Center settings...- External Content- please check Enable automatic update for all Workbook Links:
