Please try to follow the methods below and check if the issue persists.
- Enter "edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose" in the address bar, and check if you have turned on some settings. if so, turn them off and restart Edge again.
- Try to create a new profile in Edge, select the dark theme, check if there is the same issue.
- The dark mode in edge is also related to the Windows System settings. please go to Settings>Personalization>Colors, and check if the system theme is the Dark mode.
- Enter "edge://flags/#enable-force-dark" in the address bar and try to enable the "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" setting.
- If all the above don't work, please try to update the Edge browser to the latest version or reinstall it. You could also repair your edge by navigating to "Settings>Apps>Installed apps>Search edge>Click 3 dots and select Modify".
