When I create an alert in ADF, I do not find all activities within a pipeline
The problem I have is that in the list of activities that I can select for the alert, I cannot find the latest activities that I have entered and published, so I cannot include them in the alert.

2023-09-11T19:24:49.08+00:00 Hello Giorgenzo,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Can you please let me know your "add criteria" here?
I just wanted to understand for which criteria you could not see the tasks.

2023-09-12T07:04:12.78+00:00 Hello @Bhargava-MSFT
I cannot find the activities for the criterion: 'Failed Activity Runs Metrics'.
Some pipeline activities I can see, but not all. I also checked if it was a pipeline publishing problem, but downloading the support files, there is no error

2023-09-12T19:41:12.1266667+00:00 Hello Giorgenzo,
Do you mean you cannot find the activities in the "ActivityName" section for 'Failed Activity Runs Metrics'?
If you select only the "PipelineName" and "Failuretype" as usererror, the alert will trigger when the pipeline fails with usererror.
Are you trying to set alerts only on a specific activity(inside the pipeline)?

2023-09-13T07:26:30.19+00:00 Hi @Bhargava-MSFT ,
Thanks for your reply, I will try your solution but my problem is different
I want to select specific activities that are in the pipeline, but I can't find them all. That's my problem, I don't want to create a generic alert. Then I couldn't leave the ActivityName section empty because it would return an Azure error.
(error for empty activity name section)
Is there any way I can solve this case of missing activities?

Thank you for the details.
It must be a bug in ADF. After further checking, I found a similar issue discussed here.
If you have a support plan, please open a support case so the support engineer can collect the logs and work on this issue.
If you don't have a support plan, please let me know so I can enable a one-time free support request to work on this issue.I am looking forward to hearing from you.

2023-09-14T07:16:08.7466667+00:00 Hello @Bhargava-MSFT ,
Thanks for answering all my questions. I also realised that it was an ADF bug as I could not find any other solution. I can't contact Azure support, so if you could tell me how to do this for free, I would be very grateful.
Thanks again for your help.
