We created a Teams Personal app using the Teams Development Center. The app is displayed in the Teams client on all desktop devices (Windows, macOS) without any problems (desktop client and also in the web version). On all Android and iOS devices, the app cannot be installed because it does not appear in the app selection. Even an automatic installation using a setup Teams policy does not install the app in the mobile Teams clients. We have successfully tested if the app works in another tenant - result: on another tenant everything works fine. All Teams app policies have been thoroughly checked.

Is there a global policy in the tenant that prevents the Personal App from displaying?

    Hi @Scheppler Patrick

Does your app policy allow custom apps?

    How long was it uploaded?

Try checking in Teams web client to see if this app appears in the client. If the client has this app, you can try removing the app and uploading it again.

For more details about uploading custom app, please refer to:

@Scheppler Patrick- If you are sideloading your app or publishing to an organization's app catalog, tab behavior is the same as Teams store apps approved by Microsoft for mobile.
When you are building a Microsoft Teams app that includes a tab, you must test how your tab functions on both the Android and iOS Microsoft Teams clients. This article outlines some of the key scenarios you must consider ensuring optimal user experience.

Thank you very much for your help. We had to rebuild the app from scratch, now everything works fine.
