    Hello @Garvit Mathur,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

There must be another installation process running in the background. Please open Task Manager, switch to Details tab, search for process msiexec.exe, right-click it/them, choose End task, install the Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office Runtime 2010 again.

If it doesn’t work, please check if there are other running processes called like msi/exe/setup in the Task Manager, try to end(end task) it/them.

    Best Regards,

    Tianyu
